| Filth.
Just listening to my Substance Abuse playlist on Imeem and loving the pop-licious tracks.
Sometimes I can't help but feed on the crack of the masses--and love every second of it.

marrows sing while
my bones break
at the FORCE of
my feelings
as i wait
to touch
the
silky
tendrils of your
fragile
heartbeats
and
kiss
the fullness
of
your
beautiful
tragedies,
while i caress
the smoothness
of
your
broken
melodies,
oh how marrows sing
while my bones break
at the FORCE of
my feelings
as i ache
to feel
your
being

| I'm so sorry...
I'm sorry my brother and I were little monsters when we were children.
I'm sorry I didn't listen to you as much as I should have.
I'm sorry I wasn't so patient with you when I was younger.
I'm sorry I shunned your beliefs.
I'm sorry I never wrote to you in all the time that I was away.
I'm sorry I never called even just to say hello.
I'm sorry I never told you how happy you made my childhood.
I'm sorry I was never patient with you.
I'm sorry I never said sorry before.
I'm sorry I'm probably never going to see you again.
I'm really really really sorry lola Ming...

| So I didn't make it to Comicon this year :<
But I wasn't about to go by myself (driving 2 hours and spending all sorts of money). Although I really wanted David Mack to sign all my graphic novels, 60-something dollars is not enough just for that. There's always next year.
Well, I haven't been in the writing mood. I've been reading a lot though. Summer reading is fun!

| What a strange day. Not only did I keep waking up through the night,
but I also met a lovely elderly lady while doing laundry in the
morning. The skin on her face was pleated with creases I assumed she
must be over ninety. When she spoke, her voice trembled like her bent
little frame.
She told me about how she wasn't doing laundry today because she was
going to the doctor and oh how dreadful the weather was because it was
raining but her husband was taking her and she was just checking to see
if someone used too much detergent because last time the machine
overflowed with bubbles up to the middle of her shins (oh my!) and she
did not want to trouble me so she would be on her way.
Which brings me to a thought...I ramble just like her :P
I had lunch with manang (older
sister) Ana today at Curry Hill. Thus dubbed because the street is
lined with Indian and Persian restaurants. All you can eat vegetarian!
Wheeee! As usual, I indulged in saag paneer.
After lunch, we parted ways and I stayed at Barnes & Noble at their cafe with a pile of books.
